Austrians interested in Crobus
On Tuesday at the Zagreb Fair, AutoZubak marked the launch of the first Croatian Crobus bus. – After four years of development efforts and a year after batch zero was presented, the bus starts to sell today.
Around 80 percent of all buses are expected to be exported. Depending on the model, the prices range between HRK 180 thousand and 220 thousand and the company plans to sell 300 to 400 buses a year.
As underscored by Zubak, AutoZubak will, thanks to this first Croatian bus they manufacture, offer on the local and international markets a high-class intercity bus, 12 meters long and seating 49 or 51 passengers, which is, according to international experts, able to compete with the greatest of world’s brands.- Crobus is made in Croatia, in a Croatian factory, conceived by Croatia’s engineering intelligence and signed by Croatian designers and innovators – emphasized Zubak, announcing that mass production would begin in May in a newly built factory in Sesvetski Kraljevec. At the time, 60 people are involved in the production of the Croatian bus, but the company plans to offer 300 to 350 new jobs, 100 by the end of the year.
